Welcome to my blog, A Girl's Guide to Video Games. I'm going to attempt to provide a girl's perspective on the world on gaming; everything from reviews to achievement guides, gaming news and tips.
Why a girl's POV?
I can easily admit that girl's are the minority when it comes to video games. We get cast aside as 'casuals' or 'n00bs' far too often, and our opinions in the gaming world don't count for too much when it comes to certain communities.
But we have a lot to say!
In my experience as a female gamer there are some things that I'm drawn to about video games that others might not be: Characterization, Story Progression, Morality, Customization, Voice Actors, etc.
I know some people who buy a game and never bother to pay attention to any of these things! But for me, and hopefully a lot of others out there, this is the stuff that matters most about video games.
I'm not saying that I'm the best gamer out there (I still can't beat Dark Souls no matter how hard I try.) but that's not what this is about. It's about giving a girl's POV to show that we do play video games, and we do have opinions (even if you might not agree with them).
